Morocco Golf Cup: the event goes digital.

How do you give a corporate golf tournament a showcase worthy of its prestige? For the Morocco Corporate Golf Cup, we designed an event website that stages the occasion, clarifies the programme and turns interest into registrations, backed by our UX/UI expertise.

A tournament, a business rendezvous.

Every year, the Morocco Corporate Golf Cup brings together executives, partners and guests around a tournament that blends sport, networking and lifestyle. Behind the conviviality of the greens sits a serious stake: gathering a demanding corporate audience, nurturing the relationship with sponsors, and keeping the event alive well beyond the day spent on the course. For this kind of gathering, image matters as much as organisation: the first impression forms online, often weeks before the first player tees off. Sponsors, guests and partners judge the seriousness of the event by the quality of its digital communication, and a lacklustre presence can be enough to cool valuable support. The digital showcase is therefore not an accessory — it is the event's first commercial argument.

Until then, the organisation relied on scattered materials — emails, PDF files, standalone forms — which made registration laborious and blurred the message. What was missing was a single point of reference, able to carry the event's identity and centralise every piece of information, from the programme to how to take part. That fragmentation had a real, if invisible, cost: hesitant participants, under-valued sponsors, and an organising team endlessly repeating the same answers. Building a dedicated website meant, first and foremost, giving the event a clear foundation to run it end to end.

The challenge at hand.

Three tensions stacked up. First, embodying a premium event without falling into the cold aesthetic of an institutional website: corporate golf sells on emotion as much as on seriousness, and the tone needed to inspire confidence while still creating desire. Second, structuring dense information — edition, format, course, partners, highlights, practicalities — so that a visitor in a hurry finds the essentials within seconds, without ever having to search or cross-check.

Finally, and most importantly, the site had to convert. A tournament lives on its participants and its sponsors: every point of friction in the registration journey, every unnecessary field, every doubt over the terms translates mechanically into a drop-off. We knew most visits would happen on mobile, often between two meetings, so the experience had to be flawless on a small screen. The goal was clear and measurable: make registering an obvious action, as simple from a smartphone as from a desktop. Every second of hesitation, every slow-loading page, every missing piece of information became a drop-off risk we had to eliminate methodically, upstream.

Our tailored response.

We designed an event platform that tells the tournament's story as an experience: a homepage paced by course visuals, a narrative thread that unfolds the programme, and clear visibility for partners. The art direction pairs the sobriety of the business world with the light of Moroccan golf courses, a balance worked out hand in hand with our design team. Every section was ranked to answer a precise visitor question, from "what is this?" to "how do I take part?". Nothing was left to chance: the order of the blocks follows the mental journey of a prospective participant, from initial curiosity to the decision to register.

The heart of the project remains the registration journey: a shortened funnel, fields trimmed down to what matters, help messages that appear at the right moment, and instant confirmation — all built and hosted by our Websites & Platforms practice. The site was designed to carry over from one edition to the next, with a reusable foundation that saves valuable time each new season: updating the dates, the partners and the programme is enough to relaunch the machine without starting from scratch.

The levers we used.

The project drew on several in-house disciplines: interface design, high-performance front-end development, integration of the registration journey and SEO optimisation to capture searches related to corporate golf in Marrakech. This cross-disciplinary approach guarantees a coherent, fast website built for conversion, rather than a stack of components bolted together. Images are served in modern formats and multiple resolutions, so visual richness is never paid for in slowness. That attention to performance also benefits search visibility and the mobile experience, two decisive factors when most registrations happen on a smartphone.

We also planned for the event's social life: adaptable visuals, shareable formats and relay support through our community management teams. An event doesn't stop at its homepage — it gets told before, during and after, across every channel. The site then becomes the anchor point for a wider communication effort, the place posts, invitations and reminders lead back to, and from which every new registration starts. That consistency between the site and other channels avoids losing momentum and strengthens the event's credibility at every touchpoint, from the first teaser to the prize-giving.

What we take away.

On an event project, clarity outranks technical showmanship: the visitor wants to understand quickly and register with no effort. The real luxury here is the simplicity of the journey, not a pile-up of effects. This project confirms our conviction — a successful event website is judged by the number of registrations it triggers and the peace of mind it brings the organiser, not by how many animations it stacks on screen.

We also take away the value of a foundation built to last: investing once in a solid base spares you a full rebuild for every edition. Organising an event, a tournament or a professional gathering? Discover our other projects or talk directly to our team.
